13/07/08 Deal Festival 2008

As part of the Deal Festival 2008, Juice performed Full Fathom Five, an original work created for them as part of an education project involving Stephen Clee and students from Dover Grammar School for Girls. Download the performance for free from our online shop.

28/06/08 Fuze Auditions

Audition tooks place on friday 27th for the Fuze project. Seven bands took part with three going forward to play at the first Fuze event to take place in late July. Click here for more info Fuze

23/05/08 Johannes Möller

The Swedish guitarist Johannes Möller gave an excellent performance of Stephen Clee's work for solo guitar 'From Dusk till Dawn' as part of his recital at Keynes college at UKC. Some of the performance is available to listen to on our composing page.

14/05/08 Deal Festival 2008

This years festival will again see us collaborating with Dover Grammar School for Girls working with year 10 students to write for the vocal ensemble Juice.

01/05/08 The Nature of Change

The Nature of Change exhibition special viewing took place on Saturday 26th April with over 100 attending. The event was a great success for all involved with an excellent response from those who attended and from the press coverage. Further details are available on our education page.

10/03/08 Sounds New Festival 2008 - Birdsong

Blast Creative Musics Stephen Clee has been awarded Art Council funding to run an art/ music project involving two schools exploring a two mile section of coastline in North Kent

Some of our guitar projects now come arranged for full bands. Each of the pieces has been chosen to present challenges to increase ensemble skills and musicality. Each comes with a full score and parts (tabbed where necessary) and an mp3 of the complete track. Ideal for bands just starting out or teachers needing repertoire for students. 19/11/07 Sounds New 2008

Blast Creative Music continues their association with the Sounds New festival in 2008. We will be working with four schools from the Canterbury area along with the saxophonist Evan Parker to create an original work exploring Messiaen's use of bird song within his compositions. Evan Parker and the children will perform the resulting work as part of the 2008 festival.
