About Blast Creative Music

As a company much of what Blast Creative Music do is one off projects and commissions that can be for a number of organisations. Blast Creative Music works and collaborates with freelance musicians, artists and writers and has strong links with various organisations.

Stephen Clee graduated from Christ Church University College at Canterbury with a Bmus (hons) degree specialising in guitar, composition and orchestration. These interests have led the direction of Blast Creative Music. After graduating Stephen worked in various roles as a peripatetic instrumental teacher and as a secondary school classroom teacher. Since starting Blast Creative Music Stephen has taken on projects for a number of organisations and individuals and performed in various ensembles playing in musical theatre and in a more traditional band setting. As a solo guitarist he has performed a wide variety of weddings and events.

Strong working relationships and been built with various organisations both with educational work and through music commissions including the Deal Festival of Music and the Arts and the Sounds New festival promoting contemporary and original music. As well as working with organisations such as these we also fund and promote our own projects and workshops exploring different themes or issues.
