Acoustic Composition and Arrangements
Working with live musicians requires an innate knowledge of the instruments being written for, the ability of those performing the work and how different instruments work together in a given acoustic. We have worked with a number of different ensembles and solo musicians for a variety of different projects both for recording and performing live. As well as writing for a specific ensemble we can offer advice on what instrumentation would produce the best results for a given assignment. All projects for live performance are provided with a full or conducting score with parts as required.
Digital Studio Based Composition
Our recorded studio based work offers a finished product to the highest standard in both content and service. As with our acoustic compositions, our work can be a stand-alone venture or dovetailed into an existing project. We are experienced in working to deadlines and within set budgets and can offer advice on musical direction for a project or can follow a given criteria. We try to avoid the use of pre-recorded samples to maintain an individual product.
Music for Live Performance
Blast Creative Music can provide music for a hired ensemble at specific events such as corporate days or weddings. Key moments in the day can be highlighted with music written to your specification providing you with a personal theme or anthem to last for the length of time you need it to whether you wish to introduce a certain speaker or walk down the isle.
Arrangements and Compositions to Purchase
Scores for some of our compositions and arrangements are available to purchase through Sibelius Music, a third party site that allows you to preview and print scores online. To use this service you will need to download and install Silelius Scorch, a free ActiveX add-on that allows you to listen and print the scores. The first time you view a score Scorch will automatically download (click Yes/Install twice when prompted).
